German journal for historical science
The German Journal for Historical Science ( DZG or DtZGW for short ) was a historical specialist journal that was published by the academic publishing house JCB Mohr in Freiburg im Breisgau between 1888 and 1895 and was edited by Ludwig Quidde . There were a total of 12 volumes.
In the following years, the German Journal for History / Quarterly Issues and the German Journal for History / Monthly newspapers appeared in parallel . Both were only two years old (7th vol. 1896/97, 8th vol. 1897/98). The latter journal went under, while the former with the existing volume census as a historical quarter (s): Journal of History and Latin Philology of the Middle Ages from Volume 9, 1898 to Volume 33, 1929/31 and then with a new volume count from 26 Volume 1931 was continued until Volume 31 1937/39.
