Heinz G. Hahs

Heinz G. Hahs ( pseudonym for Helmut Schwank , born May 9, 1934 in Cologne ; † November 16, 2019 in Mainz ) was a German writer .

Life

Helmut Schwank studied German and Romance languages at the University of Mainz . He then worked as a grammar school teacher, most recently as senior teacher at a grammar school in Mainz. He has been a freelance writer since the 1980s and is a member of the actor ensemble of the Mainz Forum-Theater Unterhaus .

As Heinz G. Hahs, he is the author of stories , essays , poems and plays as well as a member of the Association of German Writers , the Association of German Writers in Rhineland-Palatinate and the Mainz Authors' Group .

Helmut Schwank alias Heinz G. Hahs lived in Mainz until his death .
