German conditions

German Conditions is the title of a study that has been carried out continuously over a period of 10 years on the connection between social and economic conditions and the development of prejudices against social minorities in Germany . The volumes published annually mainly contain statistical analyzes, but also essays and interviews on the topic.

The long-term study was carried out by a research group from the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence at Bielefeld University under the direction of education professor Wilhelm Heitmeyer between 2002 and 2011.
