The German Blind and Visually Impaired Chess Federation e. V. (DBSB) is the leading organization for blind and visually impaired German chess players . According to the statutes, one of its goals is to promote the integration of blind and visually impaired people into society. The DBSB organizes tournaments for the visually impaired , such as the German Championship .

The association is based in Heidelberg .

The DBSB was founded in 1951 by Hermann Uekermann (* 1916, † 1977).
