The German Press Museum Hamburg eV was founded in 2002 by various employees of the publishing house around Rolf Grimm. The aim of the association is to set up a press museum in Hamburg . About 100 individuals as well as organizations and companies belong to the association.

The Association of the German Press Museum is involved in the realization of a museum that will use exhibitions and events to address questions about the present and future of the press.
