The Deutsche Tierärzteblatt (Dt. TÄBl.) Is a veterinary journal that appears monthly and is published by the Federal Chamber of Veterinarians . Since all veterinarians in Germany are compulsory members of a veterinary chamber , they receive this magazine. The circulation is around 40,000 copies per month and is published by Deutsches Ärzteverlag , Cologne. The orientation of the Deutsches Tierärzteblatt corresponds roughly to the Deutsches Ärzteblatt for human medicine.

In the Deutsches Tierärzteblatt, new legal provisions are announced and current developments in veterinary medicine are presented. It also publishes news from professional and ethical politics and the regional veterinary associations, animal disease reports, job advertisements and announcements of advanced training events and trade fairs.

A magazine of the same name appeared from 1934 to 1945 as the “Official Journal of the Reich Chamber of Veterinarians”.
