The Deutz D 30 is a Deutz brand tractor from the Deutz D series , which was produced from 1961 to 1965 in the Deutz works in Cologne in a number of around 35,000 tractors.
The Deutz D 30 received the same engine as the Deutz D 25 , but its output was increased by 8 hp . The maximum speed of the tractor is 20 km / h and the two-cylinder four-stroke diesel engine used achieves up to 2300 revolutions per minute . The double clutch of the Deutz tractor comes from Fichtel & Sachs . The tractor is also equipped with a single-disc dry clutch . The rear-wheel drive has a selectable differential lock .
The D 30 has a total of eight forward gears and two reverse gears, with which a speed of up to 9.1 km / h can be achieved. With the help of the minimal speed adjustment, even more difficult agricultural tasks could be carried out, depending on requirements or the nature of the soil. With a front loader , this model was one of the most popular farm tractors of its time, which explains the high number of units. The tractor's own weight is between 1390 kg and 1420 kg, with additional agricultural equipment up to a total weight of 2300 kg. The tractor is 3040 mm long and 1600 mm wide.
The Deutz D 3005 came onto the market as a successor model in 1965. An independent mower drive with slip clutch and various control devices were available as optional accessories at the customer's request.
This D-series model was also produced by DECA Deutz in Argentina in the 1960s, parallel to the A series.
