Deutz D 3005

The Deutz D 3005 is a Deutz brand tractor from the Deutz D series , which was produced in the Deutz works in Cologne from 1965 to 1967 . A total of 16,500 tractors of this Deutz model were produced.

The standard engine PTO of the D 3005 is operated via a double clutch. There was also a version with a geared PTO shaft for export. The transmission is equipped with eight forward and two reverse gears. The built-in engine of the type F2L812S was a two-cylinder four-stroke in-line swirl chamber diesel engine that is cooled with air by an axial fan. At 2300  revolutions per minute , this tractor had a nominal output of 28  HP (20.5 kW). With a length of 3290  mm and a width of 1545 mm, the empty weight of the tractor was 1635 kg. The top speed of the Deutz D 3005 was 25.9  km / h .

A brake acts on the rear wheels of the tractor, each of which can brake independently of one another to support cornering. The brake pedal is divided for this purpose, but can be coupled with the help of a pawl so that both brake pedals work together when driving on the road.
