Diagoras Rhodes ( Greek Π.Α.Ε. Διαγόρας) or Diagoras FC is a Greek football club from Rhodes , Greece . It was founded in 1905 and named after the island's famous hero Diagoras . However, no games were held during the Balkan Wars . The club didn't play against Greek teams until the Dodecanese joined the rest of Greece in 1947.
In the 1986-1989 seasons, the club played in the Alpha Ethniki , but is currently only represented in the third-rate Football League 2 .
In 1987, the club reached the semi-finals of the Greek Cup competition and was eliminated from the OFI Crete .
