Dianade collet

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Dianade neckline is an asymmetrical neckline that completely bares one shoulder.

This type of neckline has been in vogue again and again since the second half of the 19th century . This neckline had its origin in the decidedly sophisticated evening wear of French half-world ladies . It was not until the fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli made this cutout socially acceptable in the 1930s . From 1978 to 1980 it was also popular for making summer dresses and t-shirts .
