Diapente
Diapente - after διά (dia) πέντε (pente), "every fifth or every five" - is the ancient Greek name for the interval of the fifth . In music tracts and instructions for the execution of canons , a distinction is also made between epidiapente for use on the upper fifth and hypodiapente for use on the lower fifth.
