Didier Arsène Marcel Domi (born May 2, 1978 in Sarcelles , Val-d'Oise ) is a French football player.

Player career

In 1994 Domi joined the youth team of the French football club Paris Saint-Germain . In January 1996 he made his debut for the team. In the next three years Domi became a regular player within the team.

In January 1999 he joined Newcastle United for £ 6million . After a good start, interest in him was lost and he moved back to Paris Saint-Germain in 2001. In the 1999/2000 season he scored three league goals for Newcastle. Due to injuries, Leeds United was loaned out in the 2003/2004 season in order to be able to build up match practice again.

In summer 2004 he moved to Espanyol Barcelona and only managed to get a permanent place in the team in his last season in Spain.

In 2006 Domi moved again to Olympiacos . With the Greeks he was an integral part of the defense for four years and was able to become Greek champions three times in a row with the team.

The defender has been playing for New England Revolution since January 11, 2011 .
