San Prisco is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 12,293 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Caserta in Campania . The municipality is located about 5 kilometers west-northwest of Caserta and about 27 kilometers north of Naples in the Tifata .

Ancient installations can still be found within the community. The temple of Iuppiter Tifatino from the second or third century BC is located here .

San Prisco is on the Autostrada del Sole (A1) from Rome to Naples. However, there is no connection. The State Street 7 extends in west-east direction by the municipality and connects Capua with Caserta. The nearest train station is in Santa Maria Capua Vetere .
