Teverola is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 14,637 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Caserta in Campania . The municipality is located about 13 kilometers southwest of Caserta and about 17 kilometers north-northwest of Naples . Until 1927 the municipality was still part of the Province of Naples .

Teverola is located at a junction of Strada Statale 7bis di Terra di Lavoro , which runs as a bypass road in an east-west direction through the Caserta-Naples area. Together with the municipality of Gricignano di Aversa, there is a train station on the line from Naples to Foggia .
