Capriati a Volturno is an Italian commune (comune) with 1539 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Caserta in Campania . It is part of the Comunità Montana del Matese . The municipality is located about 46.5 kilometers north-northwest of Caserta and borders directly on the province of Isernia ( Molise ). The north-western boundary of the municipality forms the Volturno .

The Capriati pumped storage power plant is located near the village .
