Pignataro Maggiore is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5830 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Caserta in Campania . The municipality is located about 18 kilometers northwest of Caserta and about 39 kilometers north-northwest of Naples on the Monti Trebulani .
