Valle di Maddaloni is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2697 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Caserta in Campania . The municipality is located about seven kilometers east of Caserta and borders directly on the province of Benevento .
Attractions
The place is known for the Vanvitelli aqueduct (built between 1753 and 1762). Together with the royal palace of Caserta and the silk mill of San Leucio, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
traffic
The Valle di Maddaloni train station is on the Caserta – Foggia railway line . The former Strada Statale 265 dei Ponti della Valle (now a provincial road) leads through the municipality from Amorosi to Giugliano in Campania .
