San Pietro Infine is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 883 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Caserta in Campania . It is part of the Comunità Montana Monte Santa Croce . The municipality is located about 52 kilometers north-northwest of Caserta and borders directly on the provinces of Frosinone ( Lazio ) and Isernia ( Molise ).

history

During the 4th and 3rd centuries BC the Oskers and Samnites settled in the area until Roman colonization reached the area from the second Samnite war.
