San Pietro Infine is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 883 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Caserta in Campania . It is part of the Comunità Montana Monte Santa Croce . The municipality is located about 52 kilometers north-northwest of Caserta and borders directly on the provinces of Frosinone ( Lazio ) and Isernia ( Molise ).
During the 4th and 3rd centuries BC the Oskers and Samnites settled in the area until Roman colonization reached the area from the second Samnite war.
The Strada Statale 6 Via Casilina runs through the municipality from Rome to Pastorano . The San Pietro Infine train station is on the Venafro to Rocca d'Evandro railway line .
