Pratella is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1491 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Caserta in Campania . It is part of the Comunità Montana del Matese . The municipality is located about 39 kilometers north-northwest of Caserta and borders directly on the province of Isernia ( Molise ). The Volturno forms the western border of the municipality.
