The municipality is located about 11 kilometers northwest of Naples and about 12 kilometers southwest of Caserta . The municipality borders on the metropolitan city of Naples .

history

Sant'Arpino is outside the ruins of the ancient Oscan city ​​of Atella . Due to the decline of Atellas around 10/11. In the century AD, citizens settled outside the former city walls.
