The mission work Bruderhand is an evangelical , non-denominational faith work based in Wienhausen . It was founded in 1960 by Siegfried Lange and Wilhelm Pahls and is organized as a registered association .
Working method and partnership
Self-image
The mission organization is supported by donations and sees its mission in evangelism and missionary work in cooperation with churches, free churches , communities and other mission organizations. This is done through evangelism, preaching services, field missions, seminars, training courses, camps, pastoral services as well as the publication and dissemination of literature, distribution pamphlets and CDs.

The first chairman is the evangelist Dietmar Langmann. In 2018, Siegfried Korzonnek replaced the previous mission leader Friedhelm Appel. The 25 full-time and voluntary employees of the mission work are mainly active in Germany, but also in Spain, Brazil, Uganda and other countries. In the past decades the mission work was involved in the implementation of numerous large events with z. Sometimes more than seven thousand visitors per evening involved. Evangelism is carried out in collaboration with local churches.

The Missionswerk publishes tracts in around 60 languages with an annual circulation of more than one million copies. Between 1984 and 2018, 35 million distribution documents were printed and distributed. The treatises published include writings by the computer scientist Werner Gitt . The evangelistic branch of the Missionswerk is supplemented by the distribution of lectures on CDs, Bible courses as well as leisure and training work in the “Oase” seminar center in Wienhausen.
Information from the mission work is published in the newsletter "Echo", which appears every two months with a circulation of around 20,000 copies.
Memberships
The association is a member of the Working Group Evangelical Missions (AEM) based in Korntal-Münchingen, an association of evangelical mission societies and training centers from the area of Protestant regional churches, regional church communities and free churches.
