The Filsbacher were a German folk music - quintet of Rhineland-Palatinate .

history

The formation was founded in 1996 by Stefan Persch (* 1964) and Franz Anselmann (* 1962).

In 2001, the band produced their first CD mini album, " Egal was geht geht" , with four titles at Wittmann + Endres Musikproduktion . In 2003 the label Tyrolis Music released the CD album Regenbogen with twelve tracks. The band performed mainly at national festivals.

After various differences of opinion between the musicians, the group was dissolved in 2018. Two new bands "Stefan Persch and Die Filsbacher" and "Die Filsbacher XXL" emerged.
