The laws of winners
The Winner's Laws is a non-fiction book by the German author and speaker Bodo Schäfer from 2001, which was first published by Frankfurter Allgemeine Buch . It describes 30 strategies with ways of thinking, approaching and acting in order to promote personal and professional success.
The book became a best- seller and long-seller , widely reviewed and translated into more than a dozen languages. It last had single-digit chart positions in the established bestseller lists in 2018. The paperback is entitled The Laws of Winners: Success and a Full Life .

The book has 256 pages with 30 chapters bearing the names of the relevant laws. Each chapter begins with a story and describes a law. The book contains a foreword, an afterword, and an acknowledgment.
A continuous element is the metaphor of eagle (successful) and duck (unsuccessful).

In 2002 the book was on the bestseller list of Manager Magazin at number 6. Horst Teltschik characterizes the book as "a convincing guide for the successful person".
Even many years after its publication, the book is picked up again and again in the media and on social media and is mostly recommended. The author and journalist Rainer Zitelmann described the book in 2016 as "very recommendable".
The book was last on bestseller lists in 2018 and was discussed again - taking into account this long period of time.
