In the state elections in 2018 , they achieved 3 of the 56 seats in the Lower Austrian state parliament and are therefore a parliamentary group without club status due to the insufficient number of members .
After the municipal council elections in 2020 , the Greens were able to move into the municipal council in 120 municipalities in Lower Austria and provide 17 vice mayors in the state.
