The Gringos ( Les Gringos ) is a Franco-Belgian comic series published between 1979 and 1996 .

Pete Flanaghan, an explosives specialist and outlaw, and Chett Crawford, a pilot and womanizer, end up in Mexico in 1912, where they fight together on the side of the revolution. Although they are completely different, they learn to appreciate each other and can solve their missions with the help of an airplane and a lot of dynamite. In addition to historical personalities, they also meet an aged Lieutenant Blueberry .

Jean-Michel Charlier invented the western series. The third volume was not finished when he died. Guy Vidal wrote the interrupted story to the end and released three more albums with the previous illustrator Víctor de la Fuente . The series appeared in Super As between 1979 and 1980 . The albums were published successively by different publishers. The preprint in the German-speaking area was made in the old Zack between 1979 and 1980 . Kult released the albums.
