Herr Wunderlich is the name of a music ensemble from Kufstein in Austria.

style

Songs from the 1920s are mainly interpreted. But hits from the 1940s and 1960s are also part of the repertoire. Members are the two tenors Herbert Oberhofer and Georg Anker and the pianist and baritone Josef Hacklinger. All three are members of the Stadttheater Kufstein. Hacklinger was also the organist of the Kufsteiner Heldenorgel , the largest open-air organ in the world.

biography

The trio got together in January 1998. The first job to be done together was a midnight interlude for a ball. The songs "Veronika, the spring is there", "Weekend and Sunshine", "My little green cactus" and "Beautiful Isabella from Castile" were rehearsed together and demonstrated. Further appearances in the Tyrolean area followed. In the spring of 1999, a really full-length program was performed for the first time in the Kufsteiner Kulturhaus. The name "Die Herren Wunderlich" pays homage to the tenor Fritz Wunderlich .

In addition to several appearances, Mr. a. in the ORF , the ARD and in BR various performances, especially in Tyrol and Bavaria, as well as guest appearances in Hungary, Switzerland and South Tyrol.
