The caravan moves on ... the Sultan has Doosch! ( The caravan moves on ... the Sultan is thirsty! ) Is a carnival song that was recorded and published by the Höhners in 1997 . The piece was written by Martina Neschen, Monica Riedel, Hannes Schöner, Peter Werner Jates, Henning Krautmacher , Jan-Peter Fröhlich and Franz-Martin Willizil. It reached number 12 on the charts in Germany, where it lasted for 16 weeks. The Höhner received their first gold record for more than 250,000 singles of the song sold .
