The ungovernable - Autonome Liste (short name: Autonome, abbreviation: U / AL) was a German political party that ran for the European Parliament in 1994 .
In the local elections in 1989 , Wuppertal ran a list for an autonomous center . In August 1993 the party U / AL was founded from among this list to run for the 1994 European elections. The party was supported in the election campaign by Antifa groups and parts of the ÖkoLinx voter association . The musician Bela B. called for support for the party.
The party's aim was "to use the possibilities of an election campaign for autonomous agitation". The party entered with the slogans "Voting changes nothing - organize yourselves" and "Elections change nothing. Choose the ungovernable! ”. She promised not to take any mandates she might have won and to pass on reimbursement of election campaign costs to previously determined political projects.
The party received 37,672 votes, representing 0.11% of the valid votes. It achieved the best result at state level in Bremen with 0.23%, in Wuppertal it achieved 0.4%. In the local elections in 1994, they narrowly missed entry into the Elberfeld district council .
