Die Wache Hamburg is a German documentary soap produced by the TV channel RTL II . It was produced by the Cologne-based company filmpool and broadcast from January 9, 2017, Monday to Friday in the late afternoon. Around 80 episodes were filmed by the end of January and aired until May 2017.

The series gives an insight into the often exciting everyday working life of eleven police officers who belong to the "Wache Hamburg". The interpersonal relationships are not neglected either, whereby the respective curriculum vitae can determine the actions of an individual and is important.

Details of the officers
Nadine Heinrich , police chief inspector, is the contact person at the station for her colleagues, for whom she is always ready to listen. She was previously in Berlin and left the city for personal reasons. She likes to spend her free time with friends and shopping.
Frank Köhler , Chief Police Officer, heads the office, placing particular emphasis on loyalty, honesty and reliability. He is married and has two sons, which also defines a large part of his free time. He was a police instructor in Afghanistan for 4 years.
Olaf Kretschmer , police superintendent, is one of the “veterans” of the guard. He looks after his colleagues in an almost fatherly manner. Wife and child are very important to him.
