Thomas Wasik (born October 6, 1986 in Zabrze , Poland ) is a German actor , presenter, motivational speaker and musician .

Life

Wasik attended Maria Carillo High School in Santa Rosa (California) as an exchange student in 2003/04 . After his return to Germany, he completed the German Abitur at the Märkisches Gymnasium Hamm in 2006. Before starting his acting training in Cologne at the FilmActingSchool Cologne, he did a European voluntary service (EVS) in Madrid for six months .

Since 2008 Wasik can be seen as an actor in various leading and supporting roles in films, TV series, commercials and internet productions. In 2009 he played a supporting role in the hooligan short film Heimspiel . Heimspiel won the Max Ophüls Prize for Best Short Film 2010. Wasik played his first leading role in 2009 in the short film Von Hunden und Dieben . He embodies the role of "Molocko", the leader of a small gang of gangsters who are trying to couple the stuffy Phil with his great love. The short film won an award in the low-budget film category at the Independentdays film festival in Karlsruhe . Wasik played the role of homosexual Chris Parker in the WDR soap A Case for the Anrheiner from 2011 to 2013. The movie Obława (Driven Hunt), in which he played a German soldier, was named best film of the year in Poland in 2011. Wasik was also involved in various advertising productions, including a. Bacardi Oakheart, Edeka and Radio Lippe Welle Hamm .

Wasik was the moderator next to the Rosbacher Superkicktour 2012 and the Colorful Wishes Tour by Krüger 2014 a . a. for Japanese television in front of the camera and moderated 24 episodes for the Japanese broadcaster NHK as a reporter on the sights of Cologne. He can also be seen in the same role for the Youtube hip-hop channel Drive-By as "RapRiddlah" and conducts interviews with various rappers from the republic.

Wasik has been working for the educational theater institute "Forumtheater inszene" since 2009 as a professional motivational coach at various secondary and secondary schools and professional colleagues in the Cologne area. The aim of the work is to strengthen the self-confidence of the students in grades 9 to 11.

At the end of 2012 Wasik founded the free music platform "4LRecords". He appears in his music videos under the pseudonym Tomek4L (LiveLove & Love Life).

In 2014 Wasik took part as a candidate on the RTL dating show Adam sucht Eva .

Since January 2017 Wasik has played the main role of Chief Police Officer Moritz Wegner in the RTL II docu-soap Die Wache Hamburg .

Wasik works as a mental trainer - keynote speaker in the field of personality development, awareness-raising, motivation, self-realization and trains various groups of people in lectures and seminars.

Charity work

In 2014 he took calls on the phone for the RTL donation marathon for “ Children in Need ”. He also took part in the 2015 and 2017 VIP horse races in Cologne for the benefit of the Child Protection Association .
Since 2016 he has been supporting the "Stars for Kids" project from Delmenhorst, which annually organizes a benefit crime dinner for children in need.

In 2017 Wasik supported the charity concert in Ransbach-Baumbach organized for the benefit of Romanian children as a motivational speaker in cooperation with Mayor Michael Merz. As part of the RTL donation marathon, he took part in the charity kart race in Essen in 2017.
