The Jewish Brigade (in the original: La Brigade juive ) is a Franco-Belgian comic series by Marvano that was published from 2013 to 2016 . The three-volume series is about the Jewish Brigade , a fighting unit in the British Army during World War II . The brigade was composed of volunteers from the area of the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine .

content

When many National Socialists fled across the German-Austrian border to Italy and on to South America after the end of World War II, the soldiers of the Jewish Brigade decided to intervene independently. The story begins in 1945 when some men from the Jewish brigade roam the country in small groups on a Nazi hunt. Ari and former British racing driver Leslie are one of those men. The further course of the action leads the Jewish Brigade back to Palestine, where they take part in the looming Palestine War and defend communities of young Israel against Arab attacks. The participation of former members of the Free Arabia Legion is also considered here.

In this story, Marvano ties in loosely with the previous series Grand Prix , so the fictional characters Leslie Toliver and Erika Pasternak already appeared there. There are also allusions and flashbacks to Toliver's time as a racing driver.
