Pfannenstiel is a district of the Thierstein market in the Wunsiedel district in the Fichtel Mountains .

geography

The hamlet is located about one and a half kilometers east of the center of Thierstein in the Sechsämterland . The Mittelweg runs past the settlement , the Dangesbach , a right tributary of the Eger, flows in the immediate vicinity. In an easterly direction, the Kaiserhammer Forst-Ost joins.

history

The Bavarian original cadastre shows Pfannenstiel in the 1810s with five hearths and five ponds .
