Schwarzenhammer is a district of the Thierstein market in the Upper Franconian district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains .
Schwarzenhammer is located on Bundesstrasse 15 at Kaiserhammer and Hendelhammer . The Eger flows through the district . The brothers Wilhelm and Georg Schaeffler founded several companies after the Second World War. The politician Kurt Schelter was born there.
Architectural monuments are various railway bridges from 1914 on the former Holenbrunn – Selb railway line , which are now part of the Bavaria-Bohemia Bridge Cycle Route . The wash house and the manufacturer's villa of the Schumann & Schreider porcelain factory as well as a stable house from the beginning of the 19th century are listed as historical monuments .
