The real religion
The true religion (DWR) was a German-language, Islamist Internet portal launched by Ibrahim Abou-Nagie in 2005 . At times it was offline , but then accessible again until the association ban in November 2016.
In December 2016, the organization had more than 165,000 likes on Facebook . The true religion uses information stands to radicalize interested parties and to advertise the terrorist militia Islamic State (IS). 140 people are known to have traveled to Syria or Iraq after participating in Lies! Campaigns to join the terrorist militia.
On November 15, 2016, the association The True Religion alias Stiftung Lies was banned by the Federal Ministry of the Interior according to the Association Act, as the association is directed "against the constitutional order and against the idea of international understanding ".
