Diego Alejandro Tamayo Martinez (born September 19, 1983 ) is a former Colombian cyclist .
Diego Tamayo began his career in 2006 with the Colombian Continental Team Atom . In his second year there he was second in the stage at the Vuelta a Tenerife and also finished second in the overall standings. He was also second on the third section of the Semana Aragonesa. In the 2008 season Tamayo won the fifth stage of the Vuelta a Navarra and was first in the overall standings. In 2011 he won the Circuit de Wallonie . In 2016 he ended his cycling career.
