The Diema DEF 150 series are diesel-hydraulic locomotives that have been in use on the Zillertal Railway since 2013 .

The two locomotives were built in 1991 by the Diepholzer machine factory Fritz Schöttler (DIEMA) and delivered to the cement factory K. Hürlimann Söhne AG, Brunnen SZ , and used there. Due to the closure of the company, the locomotives with their control cars became superfluous and went to an intermediary in 2009. Around 2010 the two locomotives were sold to the Zillertalbahn.

The diesel locomotives have a diesel-hydraulic gearbox and an OM 412A engine from Mercedes-Benz . An indirect compressed air brake with cast blocks serves as the locomotive brake. It also has an electrically-pneumatically operated sanding system . A safety driving circuit is not available. The maximum permissible speed is 20 km / h. There are matching control cars for the locomotives.
