balance
In the double-entry bookkeeping system, the service imports correspond to the assets side , since they (can) lead to outgoing payments, and the exports of services to the liabilities side , ultimately they can lead to incoming payments. To calculate the balance, the asset side is transferred to the liability side by changing the sign. The external balance is derived from the balances of the service and trade balance .
