Dieter Burger (geographer)

Dieter Burger (born March 10, 1948 ) is Professor of Geography and Geoecology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology .

Dieter Burger received his doctorate in Cologne in 1981 and completed his habilitation in Tübingen in 1992. In 1994 he was offered a professorship for physical geography (with a focus on geomorphology and soil science) at the then University of Karlsruhe.
