Dieter Luther

Dieter Luther (* 1953 ) is a German chef.

Career

Luther learned to be a chef and pastry chef and then cooked at home and abroad, for example in the Walterspiel restaurant in the Vier Jahreszeiten in Munich .

In 1983 his restaurant Krone in Münchweiler an der Rodalb was awarded a Michelin star , in 1991 also his restaurant Luther in Freinsheim , whose historic building with a small hotel was in the Freinsheim city wall.

He retired at the end of 2013. Then he wrote the column Luther's Theses in Freinsheim's gastro magazine VielPfalz . In 2016 he was a member of the jury This is how the southern Palatinate tastes .

Private

Luther is married, has two children and lives in Kapellen-Drusweiler in the southern Palatinate.
