Dieter Scheven

Dieter Scheven (* 1927 ) is a German administrative lawyer .

Scheven worked for many years in the North Rhine-Westphalia Science Administration in Düsseldorf . He was most recently since 1979 Deputy Director General, Ministry of Science and Research ( Ministry of Science ) North Rhine-Westphalia and head of the study and auditing. Cross of Merit on Ribbon (1973).

After completing his degree, he obtained a doctorate in Dr. jur. with the work “Administrative legal protection in the church sector” (Cologne 1954). After retiring (1989), continued work in Mecklenburg as an advisor to the Ministry of Culture for the development of the science administration. Representative of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in the German Physics Society as chairman of the board of trustees of the physics center. Engaged in the Fritz Reuter Society ; Founding member and managing director of the Friends of the Reuter Museums.
