Dieter Weichert
Dieter Weichert (born March 5, 1948 in Hirschberg ) is a German mechanical engineer and professor at RWTH Aachen University . He was head of the Institute for General Mechanics (IAM) until summer 2013 and has specialized in solid mechanics and polymer rheology since 1995 .
