Von Dietlein is the name of a Prussian noble family that was raised to hereditary nobility on August 2, 1906 by Kaiser Wilhelm II in the person of the Prussian major general and later lieutenant general Arthur von Dietlein (1852-1917) . The von Dietlein family is a side branch of the Dietlein family .

The coat of arms of the von Dietlein family consists of a blue shield head with five golden stars lying next to each other, in front a floating golden high cross in red, at the back divided by black and silver five times diagonally to the right, and on the crowned helmet with black and silver covers on the right and three red and silver covers on the left red-silver-black ostrich feathers.

One of the best-known representatives of the von Dietlein family is the son of the first nobleman, Heinrich von Dietlein (1888–1963), who was the boss and owner of the Hamburg Stülcken shipyard from 1925 to 1963 . The Stülcken shipyard was owned by the von Dietlein family until 1967. Today, the gender is particularly widespread in northern Germany.
