Dietmar Schöning
Dietmar Schöning (* 20th May 1948 in Kiel ) is a German FDP - politicians .
Life
Dietmar Schöning was born in Kiel in 1948. He attended elementary school and a humanistic grammar school in Kiel, studied political science in Kiel. He continued his studies in Tübingen in 1967 and has been a member of the FDP ever since. He was initially involved in the ASTA .
He has been on the Tübingen municipal council since 1994 and in the district council since 1989. From 1992 to 1996, Schöning was a member of the state parliament in Baden-Württemberg. He also works as a parliamentary advisor on budget and finance, economics, policy issues and strategy. Schöning is on the supervisory board of the technology promotion Reutlingen / Tübingen, advisory board of the day parents' association and board member of the association Pro Regio-Stadtbahn. In 2016 he ran again for the state parliament.
In 2017 he was honored for 50 years of membership in the FDP.

His father passed away when he was only 12 years old.
