Dietrichswinde
Dietrichswinde , also spelled Dietrichswinden, is a deserted area in the district of Gräfinau-Angstedt in the city of Ilmenau in the Ilm district in Thuringia .

history
The Thuringia forest and hunting archive portal in the online finder book contains an exchange of letters with Heinrich and Philipp von Witzleben zu Gräfinau on the wood in the Dietrichswinden desert. In the local directory of the Sprengels of the Rudolstadt City Archives in 1826, Dietrichswinde was described as desolate.
