A single collapsed chamber and part of the facade of a Cotswold Severn Tomb complex survived. The facade stones are slightly larger than usual in the systems of this type, which is common on the east side of the Irish Sea . Structurally, the complex remains somewhat opaque even after the excavation by Smith and Lynch in 1987. None of the stones were placed in the foundation holes, so the reconstruction remains difficult. It seems that the surviving western chamber (4) of the multi-period complex (similar to the neighboring Trefignath ) was built first, to which a second chamber (3) with wooden posts at the entrance to the east was added. These two posts were removed before they rotted away for the construction of another chamber (2). An additional chamber (1) probably a short corridor could have been behind the portal stone facade. The successive construction, progressing from the inside to the outside, is quite unusual. The entire monument lay within a narrow stone hill, the narrow width of which is unusual for facilities of this type and is therefore also known as the "Long Grave".

The west chamber contained the burned bodies of two people and remains of flint. The pottery is similar to that found in Dyffryn Ardudwy and Clegyr Boia. A burned and broken, polished stone ax was found in Chamber 2.
