Dioskoros (Patriarch)
Dioskoros Hagos Mendefera (* 1935 ; † December 22, 2015 ) was the fourth patriarch of the Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church . Its controversial appointment took place in 2007 by the Eritrean regime after the actual head of the church, Abuna Antonios, was removed from his office and placed under house arrest.
