The Dip Range is a small mountain range in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania . The mountain range is part of the Great Dividing Range and is located approximately 25 km southwest of Wynyard and runs from northeast to southwest.

The highest point is the centrally located Detention Peak with a height of 542 m. Further to the southwest is Mount Dipwood, 519 m high .
Rivers
The Hebe River rises on the southeast flank of the Dip Range , the Dip River and the Black River on the northwest flank .
