Direct Save Protocol

The Direct Save Protocol , or XDS (for X Window D irect S ave Protocol), is a software protocol that the storage of files on the drawing to the window of the file manager allows.

XDS is a feature of the X Window System graphical user interface for Unix-like operating systems .

XDS is the top part of the XDND protocol.
