Inter-Client Communication Conventions Manual

Inter-Client Communication Conventions Manual ( ICCCM ) is an open standard for X Window System clients who want to operate together on the same X server. ICCCM was developed by the MIT X Consortium from 1988.

Versions

Version 1.0 was released in July 1989; Version 2.0 followed at the beginning of 1994.
