Dirk Bockmühl

Dirk Paul Helmut Bockmühl (* 1972 in Wuppertal ) is a German microbiologist and university professor.

Life

Bockmühl wrote a dissertation at the University of Düsseldorf on the disease-promoting mechanisms of Candida albicans . He then worked in the research department of a detergent company. In 2010 he was appointed to the chair for hygiene and microbiology at the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve .
